Michele Schuff grew up outside of Detroit, Michigan, USA.
She holds fine arts degrees in painting from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and University of Georgia in Atlanta.
In recent years she has worked prolifically in her preferred medium of encaustic.
She lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia, where she is represented by the Whitespace Gallery.
She has received numerous awards and artist residencies, including most recently at Künstlerhaus Plüschow in Germany.
